Book Review
The Frost family has always been divided into two: matriarch Barb and her favorite daughter, eldest Juliet, and husband John and his favorite, free-spirited youngest daughter, Sadie. When John suddenly has a stroke one day, the family must come together and put aside their differences to care for John, and each family member must decide what they truly want for their life going forward.
This was a lovely story about the Frost family and the trials and tribulations faced over a lifetime trying to empathize with one another. I loved this story. It perfectly balanced humor and heartbreak. Though it deals with some heavy topics, it was surprisingly uplifting. I didn’t want this story to end! I wanted to stay with the Frost family as long as I could, not wanting to leave their story behind.
I would definitely recommend it for fan’s of women’s fiction, and lovers of family dramas such as This is Us.
