This book has been getting a lot of buzz as of late, and it lives up to expectations. It’s an intricate story that follows the trial in the aftermath of a tragic accident.
The story twists and turns as the trial progresses. Unlike most thrillers, this one was not predictable.
I’m a huge fan of the multiple POV style and the overall pace. It’s told in third person, but focuses on a different character each chapter. I love getting the different perspectives and opinions from each of the characters.
It was such a beautifully layered story. I love how it explores guilt from multiple angles. Guilt of not being a good enough parent or spouse or daughter or friend. I thoroughly recommend it to everyone.
